Excuse us as we trumpet through the streets, but we carry big news. Yes, it is once again time to crown a new champion. We have actual, real, in-the-flesh results, and you didn’t even have to pin yourself to social media, waiting for voting returns to drag out for weeks. We’re here right now to sort this out.
Your challenge was to write a story with the opposite moral of Aesop’s “The Goat and the Goatherd”. We were taken aback by the amount of stories that actually contained goats, but also by the sheer quality of the final entries. Due to this quality, the ranking did not come easy.
